“The cut diamond firmly holds its slant. On the outside the precisely-cut edges evoke austerity and strict demands, while the inside hides a pure soul. Pear is also a sitting figure, a friend who will never leave you”, says the author.
The robust base gives the Pear vase its stability, while its asymmetric slant gives it dynamism. The inner, drop-shaped core with its narrow throat softens and refines the austerity of the view from the outside. At the same there is an optical play between the layers of coloured crystal from the typical Moser range.

The design of the complex pattern of the Metamorphosis collection was inspired by a variety of repetitive structures found in both nature and architecture. The regularly set scales on snake-skin, the perfect shape of the Bravais lattice, as well as the fascinating arches of Medieval Gothic. Rony Plesl imprinted these fascinating elements of geometry into the design of the Metamorphosis collection.
